IPL Questions & Answers

How many treatments will clients need?
In most cases 6-8 treatments will suffice, however, the darker the hair, the quicker the result.

What qualifications do the technicians have?
All Absolutely Gorgeous laser technicians are fully qualified beauty therapists who have undergone extensive training in IPL & laser procedures, physiology, anatomy & first aid and they are also a licensed Laser Safety Officer.

Does the IPL treat hair removal only?
No. Absolutely Gorgeous can also treat red spider veins, blemishes, pigmentation, some stretch marks and photo rejuvenation.

What about follow up skincare to be used at home?
Absolutely Gorgeous laser technicians can recommend follow up skin care for photo rejuvenation in accordance with our product and we can supply a protocol treatment pack to ensure correct post care treatment is followed.

What payment methods can clients use?
Our Absolutely Gorgeous laser technicians have a mobile EFTPOS machine. Cash, EFTPOS or credit cards only. No cheques will be accepted.

What about insurance?
Absolutely Gorgeous is fully insured to cover your treatment.

What happens when you make a booking?
On your first visit you will be asked to complete a consultation card. This information will be entered into a database. The care and information is retained by the Absolutely Gorgeous technician. You will then receive a full consultation. Payment is made at completion of the treatment and packages can be paid in full up front to receive a discount.

How many salons are part of this network?
Absolutely Gorgeous currently operates from various salons on the Sunshine Coast. A complete list of these salons is available upon request.
